For Immediate Release Everett, July 13, 1998:

Precision Airmotive Corporation has been granted Parts Manufacturing Approval (PMA) by the Federal Aviation Administration for another model from the Lamar lightweight starter line.

The 12 Volt Starter PM 1204 and the 24 Volt PM2404 have been approved for installation on Textron Lycoming LIO-320, LO-360, LTO-360, LIO-360, LHIO-360 anf LTIO-540 engine models.

These starters were developed specifically for left-hand turn engines and fill the requirements to fit Lycoming engine models for those twin airplanes with counter rotating engines. The Lamar permanent magnet starters represent the latest in starter technology, setting new standards in performance and reliability.

These starters deliver exceptional torque to start virtually any general aviation piston engine in nearly any environment, yet weigh about 40% less than conventional starters. Lamar at a glance:
